Our client is an established listed FMCG company is seeking for a self motivated individual to join them as:


Regional Rewards Manager (Asia Pacific)
SGD 5000 - 10000
(Singapore - Central)


Responsibilities:


Reports to: Regional Human Resources Director (Asia Pacific)


To be a strong contributor to the development of new compensation strategies through creative input combined with data analysis and a deep understanding of the company’s future challenges (bonus plans, market position, salary range design, and pay mix analysis)


The regional reward strategy and programmes support the group and global category management business objectives


Design & deliver Remuneration & Benefits strategies for the organization


The development of cost effective and competitive reward programmes


The implementation and operation of the global grading system that applies across all colleagues within the region meeting group standards


The provision of reward, management and high quality colleague data (through the HRIS and country payrolls) that assists effective management decision making


Work closely with country HR to design and deliver retention plan / schemes


Design and implement policies that support the rapid growth and expansion of the organization


Custodian of job evaluation and performance management processes within the organization


Identify and implement benefits that increase the quality of life for employees


Participate in remuneration surveys and networks representing the company and develop
strategic salary positioning models that are in line with the market to deliver fact based decisions in the region


Coordinate and deploy performance management, annual salary reviews, bonus payout processes throughout the company


Ensure that a culture of performance is rooted deep in the organization through the definition of guidelines and KPIs related to performance assessment and their translation at the time of salary and bonus review


In cooperation with HR and Finance, establish budgeting guidelines for the different populations, countries and package components at the Division level (salary increases, allowances revision, bonus provisions)


Act as a recognized subject matter expert, advising HR and business managers


Devise solutions for specific issues in countries or businesses, ensuring the respect of corporate philosophy on C&B while addressing the needs of the business (for example, total compensation mix differences, inflation rates and economic or political impact on employment terms)


Actively involved in the deployment of the grading system and driving data accuracy in the HRIS system to enable informed decision making


Participate to the elaboration and deployment of the education program of HR, line managers, enhancing their C&B and performance management skills to support the growth of the company


Coach country HR team members and provide thought leadership in resolving issues affecting compensation, leveraging prior knowledge and functional expertise and supporting colleagues in all other HR initiatives


Health and Safety

Comply with all instructions, training and procedures in relation to Rentokil Initial Health & Safety policies and any other directive issued for the purpose of Health & Safety


Complete hazard reports for any identified hazards and pass to your Manager or Supervisor for action


Participate and / or contribute to discussions at Branch Meetings that relate to Health & Safety
Observe fellow employees and contractors — lend a hand and correct or report behaviour that is not safe


Attend and participate in all scheduled safety training programs. Carry out all tasks by following instructions received during training


Do not use or operate any equipment or machinery unless trained to do so. Follow Standard Operating Procedures at all times


Immediately report all equipment and machinery defects and faults to your Manger or Supervisor


Immediately report all injuries and illnesses relating to your employment to your Manager or Supervisor


Cooperation on this issue is necessary and expected to ensure that the incident does not re-occur and to allow the rehabilitation process to begin


Comply with and assist in any investigations, inspections and incident reporting and recording requirements


Know, understand and comply with the Site Specific Emergency Response and Evacuation Policies and Procedures

Requirements:


Degree in Human Resource Management or its equivalent


At least -5-10 year (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position


Some overseas travelling will be required


Team player & resourceful with good communication and negotiation skills


Fast and independent with strong organizational / leadership skills


Excellent interpersonal skills with positive attitude and outgoing personality


Computer literate especially in Microsoft Office


Able to start work immediately or in short notice
